Sponsor Giveaways: Susannah Conway, The Vintage Pearl, & Clickin Moms
This weekend I would like to first introduce you to Susannah Conway. She is a photographer, writer and workshop leader who lives in south-west England. Her beautiful and inspiring blog can be found here.
Susannah is giving away two things this weekend:
( 1 ) One person will receive an 8x8 inch fine art photograph of winner's choice from Susannah's Etsy store. They will also receive a set of Cupcake postcards.
( 2 ) One person will receive a spot in her late summer Unravelling: Ways of Seeing Myself online workshop. According to Susannah:
Check out the complete course outline here. The late summer session starts Monday July 13th and runs for 8 weeks. A fall session will also begin in late September. Testimonials of other's experiences in this workshop are located here. These definitely won’t be self-portraits in the traditional sense – we’ll be using the camera as a tool to unlock how we see not only ourselves but also the world we live in, including the immediate surrounds of our homes, places of work and our friends and family.
The Vintage Pearl is a wonderful custom jewelry shop that offers a variety of pieces suitable for your own words, names, and messages.
One person will receive a custom piece of jewelry of their choice from The Vintage Pearl.
Visit The Vintage Pearl Blog here.
Our third giveaway this weekend comes from Clickin Moms who recently did a redesign of their website for a lovely new look.
One person will receive a one-year membership to Clickin Moms.

Have a great weekend!
My favorite photo is of my son and husband. I needed to take a photo for a class I am taking - they were both being uncooperative and I was sort of being bossy. So they started to ham it up and I got the best photo of them just goofing off. I had been complaining that my husband kept closing his eyes and that my son was giving the cheesiest smiles and then came the big eye and goofiest expressions possible. Love it!

We live right up the street from the great Mississippi River. The kids went rock skipping recently and when they were finished had to wash mud from their feet. My fave pick was of the muddy feet around the watering hole. :)
Thanks Ali!

Currently my favourite photo is of my youngest son who is almost 2. Daddy is heading down the sidewalk with the boys taking them to daycare in the morning. My son is very focused lugging daddy's lunchbox, which is heavy enough he is lopsided. I have a front view and rearview showing he is struggling. It makes me smile whenever I see it.

Hi Ali,
Hope you're having a great weekend! My favorite photo right now? That's an easy one. It is of my two-year old daughter with whipped cream all over her face, in the middle of a giggle attack. I took it last week during dessert, and the moment I saw it, I knew it would be one of my favorites. I love not only her face in it and the crop (the only editing done was to convert it to black & white), but especially that it captures something in her "right now": her new-found ability to make herself laugh. You can see the photo in the following layout:

Thanks for the opportunity, Ali!

My grandmother recently spent 7 weeks in the hospital. I visited her often with my son. My recent favorite photo is of them laughing together at something, 82 years difference in age but still sharing a sense of humor :-)

My favorite most recent photo is the last photo in my blog post of June 12.

Normally I would choose a photo with my two kids but now that they are 26 & 24 I don't have a recent one of all of us together. Although, in three weeks we will all be together.

My favorite photo right now is of my son. He is 2 years old and loves to wear his swim goggles, "gobbles" as he calls them, on the top of his head. I have a great picture of him wearing them with the most precious smile.
Thanks for the opportunity!

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/photo.php?pid=1800426&id=751119802 This photo came to me on Wednesday of this week, a sneak peak from our photograher, it is from our June 13th wedding. A black and white photo that captures the Maine rocky coast line in the background and our "moment" in the foreground. I am so excited to see the rest of the pictures from our eco-friendly wedding!

I caught the total "money" shot when my son snatched my sunglasses away from me the other day. I liked it so much, the smirk, the reflection, the light, that it's the header picture on my blog now! There is something to be said for having a camera handy at all times! Oliver seldom throws that smirk, but it's always when he's the happiest. Love, love love that I have it to share!

Hi Ali!
We went up to the mountains last week and I got some really good shots of my kids. I finally figured out how to get blurry backgrounds in some of my pictures. Something I've been working on for a while. I'm a slow learner. But I'm excited to keep practicing and maybe someday get a more sophisticated camera (that I understand how to use!)
And I just posted these pictures on my blog yesterday. Perfect timing! http://oswaldcuties.blogspot.com/2009/06/2-hours-away-20-degrees-cooler.html

There are several photos on this post. The third one is my favorite. My son, Matt, graduated with honors from Cornell in May. Any mother would be proud, but as he will tell you he "barely graduated from high school." It was a long, and often rocky, road, but you can see his pride in the photo!

Such exciting giveaways this week...WOW. My favorite series of photos I took recently were "a week of messes" for my Project 365. Seven days...more than seven messes....but all a reality in my world, both at home and at work. Something that I am excited (and a little shamed) to document in my project this year.
Happy weekend!!

My most recent favorite photograph is a picture of my BF and his daughter in the park. He's tickling her while she's swinging in a swing. Makes me smile just thinking about it.

My current favorite is a photo that I took while my husband and I were walking by a neighbors farm. First the donkeys and goats came up to the fence to say hello, but soon it was time for them to go....

We're on a beach vacation now I have a picture I love of my kids and their cousins. We don't get to see them often, about once a year, so it's great to get a good shot of them together.
