Why is it that I have this nice big workspace but it always ends up that I work in one little corner? Anyone relate to this?

Generally the only empty space available for scrapping in my crafty area is on the top of my printer/scanner. Crazy.

We have a connection! Golly, I purchased a six foot table at Costco and I work in 24" of it. How does that happen? LOL!

Boy can I ever relate! I have a huge beautiful studio in the basement--but I hate basements, so I always bring my stuff upstairs to the dining room table. Before I know it, I have stuff on the chairs surrounding the table, the adjacent floor and a dry sink sitting next to the table. I'm just lucky we don't usually eat on the dining room table!

So glad I am not the only one......I actually have two desks in one room that look like this...my scrapbook space and my office desk. Thank goodness for doors!

I certainly can realte. I have a beautiful room that my husband remodeled just for me. But most of the time I will use the Island in my kitchen. I think I need aan Island in my room then I would be in here all of the time. :) My room is not big enough for the Isaland though. Oh well. :)

and let me guess...everyone else is working right along side of you?! my scrapbook area shares a space with my son's toys...he has a ton of space to move around...where does he play? right under my feet.

Yes...I can totally relate. My desk space got to small, so my hubby put a sheet of plywood on top of our pool-table...guess what, I still have to move things out of the way to have room to play.

Oh yes... the bigger my table, the smaller the space I end up working with. I try cleaning as constantly as possible but it's difficult... it is... Thanks for sharing...

I can definitely relate - I am a visual person so I need to spread out all the goodies I think I might need ... by the time I am done there is usually no room left for my layout! And whenever my fellow scrappers & I get together I am always the one who takes up the most space :)

Yup, looks exactly like my work space. I end up using a 12 x 12 square area directly in front of me. Makes my husband crazy!!

YES!!! It doesn't matter if I'm working on an 8 foot table or a two foot one, I always managed to work myself into a teeny tiny space!!! I used to give myself a hard time for it, but I've realized over time, that working with all my 'stuff' surrounding me is just part of my creative proccess and I probably wouldn't know what to do in a more stark environment! (At least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! :>) Thanks for sharing! :>

Looks like we are all in this together! What a great creative world we have...just a bit messy when you get it all out...that's the space we have left!
In my PERFECT WORLD, I dream of clean and clutter free, everything has a home, everything in it's home...but then...life's not "perfect"...and if it was all put away then we wouldn't be creating!
    Have a goodie!

I find the more space I have, the bigger the mess. It grows until I can't find anything and am forced to put things away. I really do love to have my "stuff" around me. Oh no, do I sound like a hoarder?
