Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

My current favorite photo is a special one of my dad and my daughter sitting on one of his tractors....she is wearing his "signature" baseball hat - the summer evening sun casts a beautiful glow on both of them enjoying eachother. Priceless!

Currently my favorite photo is one of my dog, taken from the side, of him yawning. He has is mouth open very wide, and his tongue is curled up as he just finished his yawn. It is a very typical yawn from him and is very cute. It was a rare occasion for me to have the camera at the ready and capture this everyday moment of him!

OOPs I forgot to share my favorite photo. It isn't a favorite photo but a favorite set of photos. I have a picture frame with 4 wallet size openings that I put the hospital picture of each of son and daughter and I also put one of my husband and my self. It makes me smile each time I look at it.

Opps, got so excited about the gifts that I forgot to tell you about my favorite photo. It's one of my mother when she was about three or four, a large frameable portrait done in sepia. It was taken in about 1913-14. She's lying on a park bench in a cute little dress and leggings. There are tulips all around the bench. It's in fabulous shape. I just discovered it among her things.

Almost two years ago, I took close up shots of my boy's faces. It shows the freckles, scratches, wind blown hair... and what I like about them the most.

Hmm. My favorite current photo... I think it has to be a series of self portraits of my 7 year old nephew and I. He was being silly and I had to put him in a modified headlock. When I asked if he was smiling he mumbled, "I can't. Your arm is covering my mouth." I took the picture anyway, and smile everytime I see his smiling eyes!

My favorite photo is one of my son following his first day of snowboard lessons. He had been wanting to try snowboarding for the past year and for his birthday this year he was given lessons. He had the best day and I didn't have to prompt him to smile for me :)

I'm still hanging on to my Winter Olympic photos although we are currently into the Paralympics here in BC. In fact I lost a few of them which I took with my BB and broke just recently. Wonder if there's a way to recover them from the Hard drive... Thanks for the chance to win. Maybe that fab bag will keep my little tools safe....

My favorite photo at this moment is of a blue butterfly that had landed on my daughters hand. It was blue and oh so beautiful and somehow I was able to capture the motion of the butterflies wings as the were going up and down. Sort of a trail of motion. The color was bright and crisp! I love butterflies so I was thrilled when I was able to capture such a peaceful moment.

One of my favorites is my little boy sucking on the end of my daughter's nose. Not the most hygienic shot, I know, but it was his version of a kiss. :-)

My favorite photo is one I took while on a family camping trip. My daughter is holding her little brother's hand and leading him down the path. I love remembering them in those moments--especially on days when they're fighting.

My current favorite pics are from my twins 4th b-day party last week! One of the moms is a photographer (I didn't know!) and asked if she could take my camera and take photos. This was the nicest thing someone could do for me, it allowed me free to participate in the moment without feeling like I was missing out in capturing the moment!

FAVORITE? oh, that's tough. Maybe the picture I took of my 19 year old cat before he was put to sleep ? That's kind of sad isn't it?
