Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

My favorite photo is of my mother (81) laughing (a good belly laugh). Only when you live with her daily like I do can you know how funny and fun loving she really is. She is such a hoot and this picture is just so good. It's one of a series a friend took of her making faces and shaking her finger cause she doesn't want her picture taken and eventually laughing as she gives in to the inevitable. It's priceless.

Amazing prizes as always, thanks for the chance to win :-)
My fave photo currently? It's a silly one - I badly need a haircut right now, so for my Project 365 I took a close-up of me peeking out from behind my overlong hair!

My current favourite photo is one of my 3 month old daughter lying on the floor looking up. I've captured her profile, which is not a typical perspective I usually get. I love her expression, it's full of wonder.

My 6th wedding anniversary is coming up next Friday, and it's fun to be a little sentimental and look at our wedding photos and video. My favorite from that day is of my husband and I taking our wedding vows. We both burst out laughing when my husband's grandmother loudly encouraged us to have lots of children, and the photographer captured it perfectly on film!

My current fav is of the wild horses of Assateague. We were grateful to see so many on a snowy Friday and they were quite photogenic. My fav was the horse going up to the car in front of us and going nose-to-nose with their dog. I'm not sure who was more jumpy - the horse or the dog :)

My favorite photo right now would be one I took of my son while he was sitting in his favorite chair. I stood on the arms of it and he looked up at me.
I used the 50mm 1.4 lens that I'd just gotten and it's just a fav photo of mine! :)

I have a picture of my sister and my daughter that was taken at a family wedding before her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Her smile is so big, her face so happy. Through the really tough times we all needed to see this picture (we do not have many of her)to remind us of the good times. Without pictures it can be easy to forget.

My favorite picture right now is a black & white I took of my 13 yr old son and his dog. The photo is even more special right now, since the dog has been missing for a couple of days and we're not sure if he'll ever come home. We all miss him so much.

My current favorite photo is of two of my boys in a small train tunnel at a local apple ranch. They are both jumping in joyful poses, silhouetted by the light coming in from the other end. It just makes me laugh. Thank you!

My current favorite photograph was taken just last week.... I was playing photographer for my newsletter writing husband at his organizations yearly convention. The women who put on the convention was sitting a few seats down from me next to her husband and her father. I got a darling shot of Cindy in the foreground and the men in her life in the background. The lighting in the hall was a little wonky, but this one picture came out perfectly!!!

trying to catch up on my daughter's book as I feel the urge with baby #3 coming soon. So my current favorite picture right now is her at the beach last October. It is a cloudy overcast day so lots of grays and blues in the background and she is wearing a pink dress, white hoodie, and those baby legs in pink and white stripes. I had just started practicing with manual mode so the background is all bleary, but she is perfect! I remember it as such a leisurely fun day for me and my two littles right then!

My current favourite is of my son and his brand new wife as the minister announced them as Mr and Mrs Hopper and they are holding up their arms cheering - like boxers do at the end of a fight!

My favorite photo right now is actually a collection of photos from my 6 year old sons first machine pitch baseball game last evening. I captured him nervously batting, dancing in the outfield, and even got a blurry photo of him running off the field delighted that his team won. Can't wait to scrap these.
