Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.

From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.

It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.

Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. Taught by Shutter Sisters founder Tracey Clark, Picture Spring will offer a warm, welcoming Shutter Sisteresque invitation to discover the season; camera in hand.

Picking a favorite photo... that's hard!
I think right now my favorite photo is one of me cooking. My fiance took it from above, so it shows the top of my head and I'm slightly in motion and you see a bird's eye view of all the yummy supplies on the counter around me.
I love the motion of it! :)

My favorite photo is of my girls at the school play just two weeks ago. One was a nerd and another a rapper girl. They were both so cute and the picture perfectly captures the moment of them being up on stage. Fun Times!!! Thanks! Lori C.

My current fav photo is one of my son taken when he was 12. He's in football jersey and skateboard hat and holding his skateboard. He has his glasses on. Aww, man I loved him at this age. Just so sweet!! I had the photo enlarged to an 8x10 and it sits in my office. Jackson is 15 today.

My favorite photo at this minute is the one of the sunset over Lake Michigan - it means serenity and summer to me- and I could use a little of each of those things on this rainy busy March day!

My fav is an EXTREME closeup someone took of my 4 year old's face on he swings at school. The photographer captured her joy + beauty in a very natural way.

My current fav photo is of my daughter. She is bald and beautiful. She celebrated her 29th birthday yesterday and I am so grateful that she made it to that day. She is recovering from a Bone Marrow Transplant. So my favorite picture is of my daughter - smiling - she is alive.

My current favorite photo is one I took of my son a few years ago. I took it from above and it focuses on his gorgeous eyelashes. He is still baby-looking....and it just tugs at my heart.

My favorite picture right now was actually taken december 2007. It's of my dad with a Santa hat on...looking over his shoulder at me. Two months later he was diagnosed with cancer and died within 9 months. The picture makes me smile and is right on my computer table and on our refridgerator.

My favorite photo is one of my boys this summer with the frogs they caught. It reminds me that no matter how long winter seems, and the routineness of school - the lazy, carefree days of summer will come.

My current favorite photo is one taken of my mom on New Year's Eve 2008. She passed away 13 days later (just weeks before her 89th birthday), but she was so tickled that day because we had bought a box of party stuff - hats, crowns beads, etc. The photo is of her and one of her personal care associates, her very favorite lady that mom continually called her "ray of sunshine". It always reminds me that mom was a wonderful lady who was always ready to smile and laugh. It was the ending photo I used for the memorial book I put together for her funeral and always brings a smile to my face, especially when I am missing my mom so badly.
