Sponsor Giveaways : Tracey Clark for Big Picture Scrapbooking, Emera Bags, Shimelle.com
Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.
From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.
It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.
Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. With a new email and fresh perspective in your inbox each morning, you'll use the daily photo prompt to help open your mind and guide your lens to see and capture your life and the world around you. Whether you are an expert photographer, or just starting out, this project will help you see things in a completely new light. My husband took a photo of me one night before we went out together. I'm dressed up, my hair and makeup look good. I look happy. Some days, I revisit that photo just to get a lift.

How cool! The photo class at BPS! My favorite photo right now is of my son, at age 3 (now almost 20), hugging my favorite childhood toy. I turned it into a digi scrapbook page and it's on my desktop screen.

Right now, it is a picture of my mom and dad dancing happily at their 40th wedding anniversary party that my sister and I threw for them. Almost 3 years later, dad has passed on and I treasure both the photo, and the memories of honoring them both in such a special way.

I had a Brownie with flash, just like the one in the photos. It was a present from my first boy friend. Think that doesn't bring back fond memories!!!

I took a picture of my son when he was about 18 months old. He was in a colorful stroller with a baseball hat on. It's a close-up and just captures him at that age. Many have commented that it looks professionally shot.

I'm actually sorting through pictures right now (for LOM) and came across a polaroid of my grandparents at a New Year's Eve party and I L-O-V-E it! I'm going to scan it, scrapbook it, and possibly even frame it. They both passed away a few years ago and they look so so *ALIVE* and happy in this photo. It made me laugh out loud.
