Sponsor Giveaways : Tracey Clark for Big Picture Scrapbooking, Emera Bags, Shimelle.com
Three people will win a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called Picture Spring.
From Tracey: If someone would have told me what I know today, I’m not sure I would have believed them. That the dew of morning could be magic. That a brand new bud, longing to bloom could cause for celebration. That a cup of tea could whisper an enchanting tale. That what was on my cutting board could bring me back to center. That a dandelion could restore my hope. It’s as though the entire world around me has woken up as have I, as I look both inside myself and out and feel as if every blade of grass, every shard of light is a brand new muse.
It is all of these things that prompted me to create Picture Spring; my new online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. A 30 day soulful seasonal celebration of these muses and using our cameras to seek them out. For all the details on registration on how you can awaken your senses and your lens this spring, visit me over there. I’m giddy with what we’ll discover together.
Picture Spring is a 30-day guided e-class at Big Picture Scrapbooking that will encourage and inspire you to use photography to celebrate the season of new beginnings while honoring and nourishing your creative spirit. My current favorite photo is a picture of my 5 week old son asleep in his carseat wearing a little brown hat with ears on top and Oshkosh overalls. He looks so peaceful and innocent and it melts my heart. It's currently the wallpaper on my phone.

I have a picture of my cat I snapped in mid-yawn; he looks like he's cackling over his plan for world domination. Or screaming. Or smiling. It's a very interesting picture and I see something different every time I look at it.

My latest fav is not the best photo quality, but documents our latest tradition: going to Noodles for dinner as a family before meeting with our church life group-a three week old tradition that we all love! :)

one of my many favorite photos is one that's quite old, 53 years old. It's my mother combing my hair. I've always wish I could restore it. It's interesting how a simple photo can bring on a weatlh of emotion. I sure do miss my mom.

my current favorite photo is my older son standing behind my young one to make sure he doesn't fall off the couch. (the little one likes to go exploring on the couch and sometimes sits up without realizing he could fall backwards.)

My favorite photo was taken in the 1990s - I was in Boston for a seminar and on Sunday went for a walk. When I headed back to the hotel, an older couple were ahead of me when I turned the corner: they walked close together, their backs to me and the building we were next to had windown boxes down it's length with pink geraniums...it was and is so romantic to me. And all these years it remains my favorite.

My favorite photo is one of my now 11 year old daughter taken when she was 4. She was going to her first day of preschool. she was sh short that her jean were nothing but gathered fabric from her knees down. She is now one of the tallest in her grade. I just love that glimpse in time.

My current favorite picture is one of my nephew in the snow taken on Valentine's day. I did not take the photo, but I made it my cell phone wallpaper and it makes me smile every time I look at it!

My favorite photo is of my dad and my son who was six at the time. They were sitting in front of the window and the light was shining through the curtains. They were just talking and my son rested his forehead on my dad's. I snapped a picture and captured the most incredibly touching photo. I love it.

my favorite photo is from over a year ago that I took with a little p&s at the zoo with my boys being crazy silly, but in the background, I captured these beautiful giraffes just behind them!

My favorite photo right now includes my two daughters, my two nephews, my niece and her son. My niece has been estranged from the family and her dad for several years. This summer she reconnected with everyone. It was the first time I had seen my great nephew since he was 2 (now 8) and the first time my BIL was able to meet his grandchild. This will be his only grandchild and knowing that he might never meet him was painful. So happy that the family is back together again.

My current favorite photo(s) are baby pictures of my daughter and husband. We recently ran across photos of my husband as an infant and I guess I looked at them with new eyes and was amazed at how much he and my daughter looked alike at similar ages. I had never considered that before. It really was an awesome revelation.

I have a picture of my kids from a day we went sledding about a month ago... The 2-year-old is convinced she can pull her 5-year-old sister up the hill on the sled, and no one can stop her, and her big sis is just laughing and enjoying the "ride." Thanks for the giveaway!

My current favorite photo is one of my 4 y.o. daughter that I took on her birthday. The wind is gently blowing her hair and she has the most contemplative expression on her face. I just love it.

My favorite photos usually are of people, but right now I'd have to say my favorite is from our trip to hawaii of waimea bay, with the surf rushing to crash into the shore. It was amazing!

My favorite photo is one from last Sat. My two siter-in-laws (ages 19 and 20) married best friend marines (each age 21). This one particular photo perfectly captures their love for each other and the pure joy of this special day in their life. As marines they face deployments in the near future (one July and the other Sept./Oct.) and this picture totally captures the here and now. Truly a priceless moment captured on film.

a super closeup (shallow depth of field) of my new "california" starbucks mug with steam rising from my french press coffee. i love the graphics on the mug...palm trees and the beach on one side, redwoods on the other side..the inside is the same robin's egg blue of the word, "california" in a font similar to garamouche. not only does it remind me of recent trip to l.a., but it also makes me wish i was a graphic designer for starbucks.
