Here's two of the three sets of stamps that I'll be giving away:

Also, Hero Arts will also be giving away five prize packs that include brand new 2012 Catalog stamps. The five winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 12, and will be announced on the Hero Arts blog shortly thereafter.

All the new stamps will be available on December 10th. Check out HeroArts.com for a store near you.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE, WELCOME! Normally a process post like this would happen over on my Projects blog but since this one includes a giveaway it's happening here (and there's lots of December Daily goodness happening over there). If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.

Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:

Hello zig zag!

I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.

Here's a look at my process:

I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.

I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.

I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.

Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.

And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.

"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.

For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.

Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

Love how you used that stamp. Thanks for the inspiration.
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting the whole family together on Christmas Eve to go look at the Christmas lights. First we stop and get hot chocolate, of course.

My favorite Christmas tradition is our Christmas Eve Open House with oyster stew, shrimp/lobster bisque, peel and eat shrimp, raw oysters, and lots of side dishes and snacks. We invite friends to drop in anytime in the evening and they do--over 50 of them last year. Love the idea of using background stamps for scrapbook pages

Ever since my kids were really young, we've baked and decorated Christmas cookies with the neighbor kids. LOVE to see the progression in skill from cookies that were just slabbed with any color icing to individual "works of art."

Which tradition? I love most Christmas traditions, but I think I love anything to do with Christmas lights--especially going to temple square in Salt Lake to see the lights and Nativity scenes!

Love Hero Arts stamps! And what a fabulous layout. :) One of my favorite holiday traditions is our Christmas Eve Extravaganza (that's what we call it, haha). During the day on Christmas Eve we make all our favorite snacky finger foods, some of which we only make at Christmas (like Hot Clam Dip bread bowls and Artichoke Parmesan dip). Around 5 o'clock we set them all out, along with all the goodies we've made throughout the month or ones we've received and we dig in! We watch The Muppet Christmas Carol and eat until we're stuffed. Then my hubby reads the Christmas Story in Luke, we set out milk and cookies for Santa (and some treats for the reindeer) and head to bed. It's such a wonderful night - we look forward to it all year!

My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas Eve after dinner when my whole family is in the living room laughing and talking and suddenly my grandma, from Scotland, pops out in a rap she makes up on the spot.

hi! Love the giveaway. I like a freshly cut tree and then I just bring out all the decorations and let my boys do the tree up however they like. It really puts them in the mood and gets them super excited.

Great layout - love the zigzag as well! My favourite holiday tradition is sitting in living room in the dark before anyone else is up, with just the Christmas tree lights on and enjoying the quite and a cup of coffee.

My favorite tradition is having dinner at my sister's house on Christmas Eve. Besides having a great meal and fun with her family, by this point I have everything finished for the next day and I can really relax!

What a delightful page, and that stamp is awesome. I can see lots of potential in that one. Holiday tradition? My nephew setting up my Christmas train. Had to do without it for a few years while he served our country.

We celebrate Christmas over the New Years weekend which gives our sons the time to spend with their girlfriends and families. That way no on is rushing around, we spend the day together with snacky foods, playing games and usually watching football! My father as well as my brother and family also attend. Lots of laughter!

Beautiful page. Love the techniques. I am not a scrapbooker so always in awe of the pages people create. Hope to scrapbook when we have grandchildren.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, techniqes and project!

I have so many holiday traditions, it's hard to pick just one. I do love our family photos in front of the tree on Christmas Eve. It's fun to look back and see our kids when they were little. All grown up now (and with a myriad of boyfriends & girlfriends).

LOVE the layout and how you used the stamp for the background! My favorite holiday tradition is going skiing at Lake Tahoe. It doesn't snow where I live, so the closest place to go is there. We go every single year. Thank you so much for the chance to win!
