My favorite thing is that I can "find" myself again, both through the art of creating a page or project and looking at past projects. I'm going through some painful personal times right now, but it helps to know that I was happy once and can be happy again -- I have pictures as proof. Right?! :)

I am SO new to all of this. I have art journals, travel journals and mini books galore that I have made, but never included photos and now as I am starting to I love it. I am noticing the little things more and more and in keeping a record I look back and in a short time I have some wonderful memories. you are a big inspiration! thank you!

I have three young boys and our days are filled with a frenzy of activity. I love to savor quiet time at night to really process and appreciate the time my family spends together. Even when I can't find time to create, I realize that I am so much more aware of the little everyday moments that used to go unnoticed before I started scrapbooking.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I am actually preserving memories for my family. It toke a while for me to give up trying to scrapbook perfectly, in order of events and with the latest product. Now I am keeping moments that my family can remember and cherish. using what ever I have on hand, any way I want. I can finally say I am at peace with scrapbooking, because I dont I preserve memories.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is my blog. I have always written memories down but I am documenting so much more now that I have a blog. I keep it private so I can write exactly what I am feeling without worrying about other people reading it.
BUT, I was just reading my mom's hand written memory notebooks from when I was a child and it reminded me I need to actually WRITE in my kids journals too. I have been bad at that since I started my blog.

my favorite thing right now is documenting all the little family stories. I sent everybody a list with questions about growing up and their take on life and I'm planning a beautiful album with all the answers.

My favorite reason for scrapping right now is family. I just completed three albums for my nephew who graduated high school of his life during his school years. He loved them and read his young author book, which was included, to everyone who would listen at his graduation party. I love being a part of letting him know how special he is.

What a wonderful kit! My favorite thing about memory keeping is just that, I am creating a way to remember the memories that are made in the everyday that would easily escape my memory if I were not to put them down on paper with pictures and words. Love that scrapbooking has made me more aware of the everyday little things that make up our family and gives me a way to record them.

Right now my favorite thing about memory keeping is embracing imperfection. I used to be so obsessed with things being "just so" that it kept me from creating. Learning to roll with and celebrate the flubs and kinks of life keeps archiving more spontaneous and authentic!

My favorite thing about memory keeping is creating a 35 page memory scrapbook for each of my 20 kinders. I have been doing this for the past 4 years. It documents the child's first day and continues through the year, capturing our daily events, special activities, their art and story writing, the funny things they say, their friends, and a letter from me to the individual child. I let them know they have made a mark on my heart, not ever to be forgotten, and always cherished. The parents, especially the moms, sit and cry when they go through these scrapbooks. They are labor intensive- tabbed pages, many labels, lots a scrapbook embelishments, ribbons, and I usually use KI papers or Scenic Route. I spend hundreds of hours on them, but my gift to the parents and children will be forever cherished. This is my favorite part of memory keeping...telling the story of kindergarten.

    Hi Ali,
Thanks for the chane to win. My favorite thing about memory keeping is going back and looking at my past scrapbooks. It is funny to look at the pages I did when I first started compared to now. My technique has greatly improved. However, the memories are sweet no matter how they are preserved.
