Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Hi! Our first fall tradition is to go apple picking. My DH & kids, my parents and my brothers usually go. It's a fun quirky time. And then there is the spiced pumpkin candle I love to get out mid October and start my fall decorating. That's about it for a Southern Cali girl! ;) Thanks! I hope I win.

I like to celebrate fall just by being outside and enjoying the sunshine which seems so much more vibrant and all the new colours and the crisp air and the fresh apples and wearing fleece and sipping tea and coffee to keep warm :)

Our family's favorite way to celebrate the fall is to go to a farm to spend the morning going on a tractor ride around the farm, walk through the corn maze, get faces painted, see some animals and finally go out into the fields to find perfect pumpkins. We have done this every year since our daughter was born and has become our favorite activity to kick off the fall season.

Hi Ali! Thanks for doing this giveaway! One of our favorite fall traditions is a hike to view the colors, followed by a stop at a roadside apple farmer's market and then a pumpkin patch. We absolutely love this season :) -Sharyn

With 3 soccer players we spend lots of time on the soccer fields and Fall is my favorite time for that - cool breezes, wrapped in warm throws with beautiful foliage for the backdrop. We also squeeze in time for visits to the pumpkin patch, Halloween carnivals and time spent with family.

Fall is my favourite season not for the changing colours or Halloween but for the cooler temperatures! I don't enjoy the summer heat, I'd much prefer to need a sweater! So to celebrate Fall I rejoice in putting away the oscillating fans and bringing out the socks!

    Hi Ali,
Fall means: 1) pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks, 2) photographing trees in the front yard with leaves/some leaves/no leaves for a going-- going-- gone mini album and 3) brainstorming with my kids in college for cool Halloween costumes! We LOVE fall!!!

Hi Ali, we celebrate by going to the local corn maze and Pumpkin Festival. We buy hay bales, pumpkins and squash to decorate in front of our home. I also make apple crisp and pumpkin bread to celebrate the season!

Warm fleece pullovers, fuzzy socks and sweatpants. Long walks in the crisp air and rapidly fading evening light. Its when my husband and I do all our important talking, planning and dreaming. Homemade Soup and rolls!

Fall is my favorite season, so I celebrate by taking walks and enjoying the smell of the leaves and the crunching under my feet. As a family we go to the Apple Festival in Hood River, the pumpkin patch- even though my boys are teens, drinking hot cocoa at night, watching Alfred Hitchcock movies, decorating for Halloween, making fun Halloweeny foods, putting the flannel sheets on the bed! I have to say, living in Oregon during the fall is such a pleasure, I love it!!!

    Hi Ali...
Living in the Sonoran Desert, we have to create our own fall. My sweet mother-in-law sends my three young children fall leaves from her front yard in New Jersey. When we can, we drive a few hours north to see the leaves changing color and for the kids to feel the crunching of them beneath their feet. Thanks for your inspiration and for doing this giveaway!

I love eating, and making breads/muffins. I can tell there is a chill in the air with a slice of banana bread, pumpkin bread, lots of nuts and real butter. I can't get enough this past week. Also I love to drive with my windows down through state parks and all the leaves falling. UMMM I'm going to go make me a cup of cocoa and have a slice of banana bread. HUGs

At the first sign of cool weather, I break out the crock pot and start making rich soups, stews and chili. I buy apple cider by the jug, make pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting, and head to the pumpkin patch!
