Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Oh gosh! I can't believe how many comments you have!
I celebrate Fall by stopping in my tracks and really looking at the colors of the trees, the light that is ever so awesome, and the geese flying overhead... I stop my world, if only for 5 minutes to give thanks for a beautiful autumn day... a gift really...

Pumpkin Day with my husbands entire extended family ... all day fun, ending at dusk with at least 20 freshly carved jack-o-lanterns lined up in row! My kids are just 3 and 5 so we are starting some of our own new traditions ... last night we made caramel apples and I think we will do that every year from now on. We've also been painting pumpkins every year and hitting the pumpkin patch and a local fall festival. I also do a photo shoot of them in their costumes out in the fallen leaves about a week before halloween ... too hard to get good costume pictures before trick or treating!

Hi Ali! I live in Texas so fall means FOOTBALL SEASON! I'm married to a high school football coach, and as everyone knows...there's nothing better than a Friday night of High School Football!! The warm sweaters and jackets, the colors on the field, the marching bands, the excitement in the air! It's great!

Thanks for the chance Ali! We pick out pumpkins and then carve or paint them (age appropriate) toast the seeds and enjoy the cooler mornings.

Oh Autumn is my most favorite Season!
The colors of light green all the way up the spectrum to the darkest of golds.....
....yellows, oranges, and reds in between!
Living on a farm we just go to the corn field and collect corn stalks to put around the Lamp post and the Bell post in the front yard!
The screened in front porch has 100 count strings of purple and orange tiny lights strung like webs and really show up from the road! A huge 4' blow up pumpkin w/inside lights glows out to the Trick & Treaters!
......and I have a huge 7' nylon like material Black Cat w/little pumpkin that has lights inside and it is on a timer!
He rises at about 5pm and floats back down about midnight! So Cute!
I have a really pretty silk leaf garland w/tiny gold lights that I drape on my kitchen windows inside! Very festive!
I hope I am the lucky Pick of the Draw!! :-)

Fall? When? Where? Here in Florida the temp has dropped about 5 degrees and humidity about the same. However, we love decorating with fall leaves from Michael's that my little ones don't understand fall from real trees somewhere far, far away. We love halloween and looking forward to seeing family at Thanksgiving. Susan

Growing up in a single parent household, where my mom was pretty busy working to provide for me, didn't leave much time for tradition. Although I don't regret my mother being busy (I thank God for everything she did) I do hope to start traditions with my own family (which doesn't exist at the moment, but sometime soon, I hope)...
There's a pumpkin patch down the street from my house, and I've always daydreamed of lazy weeks there picking out the perfect pumpkin and then spending the rest of the day carving playful designs (courtesy of Miss Martha Stewart, of course)...
I hope to begin a legacy of traditions that can be passed down for years to come...

We celebrate fall with a pumpkin carving party. We live in a tiny space, but invite all our friends, make snacks, and provide carving tools, ideas, and inspiration. It's always lots of fun to see what people come up with and how obsessed they can get over pumpkin-carving details. We always have a great time!

Our fall traditions are not what is traditionally thought of as "fun". It's time for packing up the yard, raking leaves, winterizing the house. Inside, the summer clothes and shoes have to be put away and the cupboards cleaned out. Somehow we end up with some good memories though. My almost 4 year old knows that when Mommy starts putting clothes and shoes away, it's "fashion show" time. Time to try on all her summer stuff to see what might fit next year and pull out all of the winter stuff and seeing what needs to be replaced. The camera comes out and she can ham it up all she wants!

I make every pumpkin based recipe I can get my hands on! We decorate with pumpkins and A cute little scarecrow on the porch and more inside. Here down south we pray for cool weather!
thanks Ali!

Hi! We celebrate by decorating the front porch with pumpkins, hay bales, and scarecrows. We also take a trip to a pumpkin patch. This year I made a Apple Cake which was so good that I am looking for an excuse to make it again ;-)

We love fall or autumn as we call it in Oz, we love raking up leaves and having night fires to burn them all off. My daughter always says the flames are the leaves dancing to heaven.
