Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate Fall by going to the Sunflower fest at the farm, jumping in a big pile of leaves and eating hot chili while watching football!

Every Fall I get out my MacIntosh Yankee candle. Such a cozy smell. My co-worker just gave me some apples from her orchard; last of the season, so I'll be making some yummy treats this weekend!
I love leaf-peeping. The colors here in northern Mass. have just been beautiful this year. Sigh...

Fall...my favorite time of year!!!! Maybe because I have a late October birthday!!! As soon as the weather starts to change I can't wait to cook and bake..chili, stew, things that simmer!!! And baking anything, plus anything with fresh apples from the orchard. The days always seem so bright the colors more intense...even on a cloudy day the red maple trees just shimmer!!! Photos of my kids as they jump into a big pile of leaves. i love the midwest..Happy Fall!!!!

Fall in Michigan is amazing. The colors, the smells, the crisp air. We do the cider, pumpkin patch, leaf raking route, too. But our favorite hangout is the Halloween store. My kids and I play dress up, trying various costumes on and letting our imaginations go wild. We've spent many hours there and it's all free fun!

We love family fun night at our church where kids and their families come dressed up and play carnival games. They earn tickets to trade in for prizes or candy. Fun since the weather in Oregon isn't always conducive for trick or treating outside! Also, do a "rake n run" with the youth group helping out the senior aged members with raking leaves.

    FALL....
The pumpkin patch, raking leaves, pumpkin bread, the Dodson's halloween party, playing in leaf piles, and most of all comfort food dinners with friends and family.
That's how fall is celebrated at our house.

The first thing I do that really makes it feel like fall is find apple cider! I love using some mulling spices to heat up in the cider! This year it was kinda hard to find fresh cider since the apple crop wasn't very good!

Love to look at the leaves, especially around the river. I try to decorate too, a few pumpkins, scarecrows. Thanks for the giveaway!

I start making cheesy potato soup and chili, take lots and lots of pictures, and take at least one drive out to the country to see the beautiful leaves.

I love fall! This is the time of many family get togethers. In addition to Thanksgiving, a number of my simblings including my mother and myself, have birthdays in October and November. Lots of laughter, food, and family memories are made during the fall season.

I celebrate fall by decorating with fall colors. I love to see the center pieces, table clothes, and blankets come out with all the rich fall colors. Plus a trip to Apple Hill where all the leaves change and you can pick your own apples and get fresh baked pies! YUM!

Fall is my favorite time of year. This year when it started to get cold we decided it was time for new jackets. So my children and I loaded all our old sweatshirts, jackets and winter jackets up and took them to the womens shelter. We stopped and picked up some apples and carmel dip as well. The kids loved the treats and the mom's were appreciative of our coats for the cold season. I think we will do it every year.

I celebrate the Fall season by picking apples, taking a leaf peeping road trip, enjoying warm cider and ginger cookies and start planning the Christmas cards I will make this year.

Well, today we celebrated the fall season by going to the pool just before dinner, but that's not really what you're talking about, is it! I brought home a little mug full of Fall for the boys that's on our table, so although it's almost 100, we've got our fall indoors.

We love to go to different pumpkin farms around the area. I just love the colors and pumpkins. I ended up with MANY pumpkins in my yard. I also love to take little road trips to see the beautiful fall colors. Fall would be my favorite - if it didn't mean winter was coming!! I also love football season and the start of cooking again - the smell of baked goods, yum yum!!

We just did a jack'o'latern, we will rake the leaves into piles (as soon as there are enough) and my son will play in them. This year we live away from the family so we will get to spend Thanksgiving back home (super cool!). And exploring our new town as it changes colors.

Oh it'd be the annual trip to the pumpkin patch, digging out my roasted butternut squash with apple and brie soup, the field work my husband has to do and planning Halloween costumes.

It's all about the pumpkins for us. We always make the trip to the pumpkin patch, decorate pumpkins, make pumpkin pie, and do pumpkin crafts.
