Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Home Front Giveaway

SC_JANReveal_Newsletter1

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.

One person will receive the January main kit from Studio Calico.

The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.

At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

Here's a bit about Lisa and her business:

When
California girl and young mom, Lisa Leonard decided to start her small
jewelry business five years ago, she had no idea how things would take
off.  With a fresh perspective and an artist’s heart she set about
making jewelry that could not be found anywhere else.  Her
hand-stamped, sterling silver jewelry is setting the trends and is
loved by women all over the world.

Her hand-wrought creations have been featured in several
national magazines, such as Parenting Magazine, Pregnancy Magazine,
Victoria Magazine and Wondertime. Online outlets are singing the
praises of Lisa Leonard Designs, including Cookie Magazine and
Glamour.com. Celebrities also love her line, including Josie Bissett,
Jason and Naomi Priestly and Jennie Garth.

Each piece is hand-cut, hammered, stamped, polished and
drilled with care in her California workshop.  You’ll find the perfect
gift for a friend, grandmother, sister or of course, yourself!  And
don’t forget dad or baby.  Lisa offers custom keychain and baby spoons
that will warm the heart.

I keep changing my word this week. I think I have made a final decision on DO.
*Do that nasty chore list now
*Do that creative crafty I am scared of
*Do get those scrap pages organized & caught up
*Do something to enjoy for myself daily
    *Do exercise daily
    *Do eat healthier
looks to be an active & productive year for me :)
I plan to cut the letters out of vinyl & hanging them on my scrap wall as well as in my home child care environment somewhere I will see :)

My word was COMMIT... to losing weight, to becoming healthier, being a neater person. I'm joining a gym, trying to get rid of all of the junk food, and have been doing a little winter cleaning/purging. Out with the old, in with the new.

    these are great giveaways ali!
this year, i am really wanting to start out each day ready to begin...so i want to work harder at having things ready before i go to bed so that i can start fresh. (for example...a clean kitchen sink and dishwasher in the morning...) i also want to wake up earlier each morning. i am a nightowl, so this does not come easy to me...but i want my mornings to be more purposeful and serene than they have been.

Great giveaways. I haven't finalized my word, but i am leaning towards "simplify". I have spent the weekend trying to clean up and get organized for the new year. My calendar is completely updated and i have been organizing paperwork and my scrapbook area. I really want this to be the year that i conquer the clutter.

My word is HONOUR. It covers so many aspects of my life (family, finances, personal, relationships, etc), and sets the goal at an achievable level. My first goals are to honour and improve my relationships with my two sons, especially my 19 year old, by working on the way we communicate; and to take control of my finances, by watching my spending and looking for full-time work, thus honouring commitments and my family by minimizing a major stressor.

My word is FRIEND and one of my resolutions is to be a better "birthday friend" as I never seem to remember and/or acknowledge friend's birthday in a timely manner so I'm putting together a month by month birthday book to tickle my memory.

My word is happiness. So much has happened to me this past year that I just want to live happier. I started by going through all of my clothes and have three huge bags to donate. Getting rid of clutter is one thing that makes me happy. Now onto the next pile...

I will be using my word Stretch in many different ways, but since Friday morning I have not jumped out of bed right away when the kids woke up. Instead, I am taking a minute to Stretch my back, neck, shoulders to wake up peacefully instead of in a rushed mode.

Family. My word is Family and I don't think of it as a resolution because i do not want to feel the pressure of "breaking" my resolution to myself and feeling dissapointed. But I would like to focus more on my son and husband first and still
have time for extended family. It is so important to me.
Thanks Ali for all your inspiration!
