Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Home Front Giveaway

SC_JANReveal_Newsletter1

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.

One person will receive the January main kit from Studio Calico.

The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.

At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

Here's a bit about Lisa and her business:

When
California girl and young mom, Lisa Leonard decided to start her small
jewelry business five years ago, she had no idea how things would take
off.  With a fresh perspective and an artist’s heart she set about
making jewelry that could not be found anywhere else.  Her
hand-stamped, sterling silver jewelry is setting the trends and is
loved by women all over the world.

Her hand-wrought creations have been featured in several
national magazines, such as Parenting Magazine, Pregnancy Magazine,
Victoria Magazine and Wondertime. Online outlets are singing the
praises of Lisa Leonard Designs, including Cookie Magazine and
Glamour.com. Celebrities also love her line, including Josie Bissett,
Jason and Naomi Priestly and Jennie Garth.

Each piece is hand-cut, hammered, stamped, polished and
drilled with care in her California workshop.  You’ll find the perfect
gift for a friend, grandmother, sister or of course, yourself!  And
don’t forget dad or baby.  Lisa offers custom keychain and baby spoons
that will warm the heart.

My word is simple. I always aim to do/make things simple...but things always tend to end complicated, uncomplete or harder then ever needed to be. Just trying to catch up on my daughter's scrapbooks is tough, I have "grand" ideas, but because I'm always lacking a piece to my minds masterpiece, I don't do anything! Sooo I will try "simple" and know thats okay too and with that in mind things will get done!!

Amazing giveaways yet again....I guess my "resolution" is to put myself first once in awhile. I'm always so busy with my boys-getting them ready for school (driving them and picking them up), taking them to various sports.....I want to set aside time for myself and concentrate on eating better and actually exercising to hopefully result in more energy and just feeling better about myself in general...

My word for this year is FOCUS and I will be making a layout/some sort of visual reminder to hang up in my home to remind me of this. I have a camera stamp from Studio Calico that will emphasize the literal meaning of focus, although my meaning is more figurative. Awesome giveaways as usual!!!!

2010 word is FAMILY. This year we will welcome our 2nd child and all the adjustments that go with it. But mostly this motto will help me to feel less guilty about saying "no" to outside projects, no matter how worthy, and refocus on the core of my life.

I didn't do a word for the year, but I feel strongly God is showing me to keep my priorities straight this year. I believe He wants me to focus my efforts and energy into my children, His precious gift to me. And, not to be too busy to just sit and enjoy them or read to them or play a simple game. Those things are truly the treasure, not anything money can buy!
