Sponsor Giveaway | Mary Ann Moss

GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.

Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

I just cleaned my windows (use a squeege, one horizontal pass at top to stop drips). I can't believe how much better I can see the plants in the backyard. Makes me so happy!

It's very hard for me to get rid of stuff so if I get stuck, my dh pitches in and helps. Love the journal! Thank you for the chance to win!

I use vinegar and water to clean windows. Wear gloves and wipe with old newspaper. Cheap, no chemicals, and works great. I also put vinegar and a little water in a spray bottle for the floor and baseboards. Ants leave a trail for their friends to follow, and vinegar erases that. Ants also hate the smell. It may not be lemon- but I can open the windows and smell the country air while I am doind it.

wow, this class looks COOL! MY Spring cleaning tip? If you are cleaning out your supplies, stash, etc....donate it to a local school, to the ART TEACHER {like me}...we REALLY appreciate those types of things, especially with all these budget crunches..trying to come up with enough supplies for 800 students can be challenging, to say the least....Thanks for the giveaway!

Was just thinking of the cleaning because the shower stall needs major work. I like to open windows and air everything out. I find it "disinfects" the winter crud best.

The best start to spring cleaning is opening all the windows and letting the fresh air pour in. That's so invigorating it helps me get in the mood to start - one room at a time.

Here in the south, the best spring cleaning tip I can give you is wait til pollin season is over. You can't beat it! Pollin is everywhere! It's like a fine yellow snow from mid March til the end of April. The best you can hope to do is keep those little yellow footprints wiped up fron your floor. Thanks for the give-away and chance to win.

I take a few minutes before starting the day to jot down specific things to tackle on each floor (I have a 3-level townhouse). I break these down into do-able things, and things that really need to get done that day (in order to progress - like to have a bag to take to Goodwill or for a charity to pick up, or whatever). Then I set a timer. 15-minute increments. You can do anything in 15-minute increments, right? I find that if I don't write the priority things down, I get sidetracked. And I get more done than I think I will.

THROW IT AWAY! Items have to fight to stay in my house. Have to use it, love it or bye bye. It's so delightful and freeing to have what you want or use. Less to organize or dust or clean. FRESH! And heat up some lemon water in your microwave - cleans in a snap. MARY ANN MOSS ???? I'M ACHING TO WIN!! MY SCRAPS ARE DANCING...What a wonderful giveaway - thanks!!!

I am a list maker and I break my cleaning projects down into bit size pieces of small projects to complete each day. Write it on the calendar and COMMIT myself to it. One little bit each day adds up to accomplishing what I want to get done..........sometimes the big picture is too overwhelming, but the little snapshots each day are doable!

Space bags! I love these suckers! Grab all your out of season clothes and with about 8 I get mine and my 2 girls packed away in about 30 minutes! (Including the trio to the garage to use the shop vac since my Oreck doesn't have a hose attachment!)

The first 2 things that came to my mind were - open up the windows and declutter the house! The fresh air gives me more energy to tackle the stuff that has collected over the window. Piles of books - give them to the library for their book drive. Winter clothes you don't wear - now is the time to give them away. You and your house will feel lighter and brighter!
