So how's it going out there? You guys hanging in there?
I got a bit of joy today in looking back at my April 2010 Week In The Life Thursday post. It was fun to see what was different and what was the same.

As a designer, I've teamed up with key companies to develop innovative products and tools for the papercraft industry. This is your creative journey, time to embrace your imperfections - what you'll discover will be wonderful, what you'll discover will be yourself..

What a good project to do...it's take time each day /or week, but worth it!

what's special about me? i am only just one of God's many children--i love teaching others a new craft or technique, playing with color and finding a new project, technique or art form to try.

Hi-
This is the first year that I have done this project and I really am enjoying it. I am not much of a photographer, but I am becoming a little shutterbug now - lol.
I like your post today as this is kind of my theme I am working around. I am calling this my "Grateful Week" project. I have had some life changing experiences lately and I have alot to be grateful for.
Thank you so much for sharing so much of your life with everyone!! You are very inspiring.

I love your shower and steamy mug photos! I'm still chugging along and very much looking forward to putting it all together next week. On the other hand, I'm also looking forward to putting the camera away too.
Like many others before me, I'd like to thank you for the awesome planning pages you made. It's making it so much easier to keep track of the memories of the day. I have collected so many photos and stories that I'm thinking about slipping in an extra page protector on those days. We'll see...

I'm not taking as many pictures as I would like mainly becasue I am not remembering as I go about my day. I haven't even had a chance to upload any of them yet. Hopefully this weekend!

I AM hanging in there....I'm surprised at myself. I'm writing words too :)
Even Wednesday, while I had to work, I left a point and shoot camera at home for the kids along with the journal pages for them to document. It was fun to see what they captured.
Question: I think I will be sending off all my pictures to a printer (rather than print from home). Any ideas how many pictures would be ideal to print for each day for assembly?
Much thanks!!
Hi Tere - it's really up to you and how you are planning to put your album together. It might be helpful for you to read my post from last year about dealing with my photos: http://aliedwards.com/2010/04/week-in-the-life-bringing-it-all-together-%E2%80%A2%C2%A0the-photos.html
Thanks Ali. I just reviewed the link, very helpful.

Ali,
I look forward to reading your blog everyday and you have so inspired me to capture the everyday. Also love reading everyone's comments and seeing their work!
Unfortunately I have way too much on my plate this week to participate in a WITL -- home renovation/move, 20 month old twins and an 8 week old -- but I did manage to capture a day in our lives and documented everything we did on Tuesday. I'm going to add it as an extra in my Project Life this week. I'm so glad that at least I'll have one day documented to look back on when I do get a chance to do WITL.
Thans Ali!!
Love that Jennifer - you definitely have a full plate right now and I love that you took the time to document a day - you'll be glad you did a year from now when things are different once again :). Have fun with those kiddos!

Love that shower photo! COOL!! I am learning to take this process all in stride because yesterday did NOT go as planned (EARLY morning phone call from my hubby with car trouble and driving over an hour to get him and rushing back to get ready for work so needless to say my "normal" photo-taking didn't happen and forgetting my camera to take pictures of the breakdown..LOL!) So, even though it didn't go as planned as far as the pics I wanted to take, I remembered your advice that it's OKAY and I took a breath and thought I would just have more words than pictures and that is OK. Learning to accept things being OK as they are can be a powerful thing. Thanks so much Ali!

It is going well. Tuesday ended up being an "I'm thankful for" type day for me- not planned, just happened. Neat to see yours too!

I was thinking of doing a me in a shower shot too...but didn't know how in the world I could do that...you pulled it off beautifully. So far so good with the project so far...I have to work tonight and was just wondering how in the world am I going to get pics of it...I'm working at a food stand at a night market and it's so busy, don't know if I'll have time to pic up my camera. I also wanted to say...I am truly enjoying the process so far....love it!

I'm absolutely loving this project!!! This is my first WITL but it definitely won't be the last. I just had to say thank you Ali for all of your inspiration. Also the pdf sheets are awesome and I know I wouldn't be doing as well without them.
One more note: I just checked my blog site meter. All of you readers are awesome! I've had hits from 21 states and 10 different countries in the past 5 days. Love that we can all connect in this way this week :)
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Ali, I'm loving this project! I have a larger digital camera so I don't usually carry it around with me. Having it with me all of the time this week has made me realize that I either need to use this camera more or get a small one that will fit in my purse for when I'm out and about. There are so many things I see to take pictures of when I have my camera along! Did I mention how much I'm loving this project??

I had to give up the week in the life project yesterday. I felt that I wasn't able to give it the time that I really wanted to given all the other hectic things going on right now around here. But, I have saved your pdf file so I will plan to do it at another time. Thank your for those, and thanks for sharing; you're an inspiration!
