Here's two of the three sets of stamps that I'll be giving away:

Also, Hero Arts will also be giving away five prize packs that include brand new 2012 Catalog stamps. The five winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 12, and will be announced on the Hero Arts blog shortly thereafter.

All the new stamps will be available on December 10th. Check out HeroArts.com for a store near you.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE, WELCOME! Normally a process post like this would happen over on my Projects blog but since this one includes a giveaway it's happening here (and there's lots of December Daily goodness happening over there). If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.

Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:

Hello zig zag!

I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.

Here's a look at my process:

I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.

I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.

I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.

Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.

And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.

"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.

For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.

Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

Wow, my favorite Christmas tradition?! Let's see, I love, love, love, to take a drive or walk through my neiborhood to look at the Christmas lights. The lights make Christmas magical for me. And it really is relaxing after a hectic day of shopping.

Love that Zig Zag stamp; I forget that you can use your stamps to create patterned paper.

Would love to win these sets. Nice layout. My favorite Christmas tradition is eating crab with the family (imagine 6 tables covered in plastic with about 50 people with their own crab and bib)

Trimming the tree is an all time favourite tradition of ours. It's just not Christmas if you don't have a tree. Next would have to be making my cards.

    Love the LO...

My fave tradition is making some tortilla snowflakes with the kids...we first cut the tortillas into snowflakes--much like paper snowflakes--and then spritz some oil on them and we toast them in the oven a bit and then sprinkle with sugar...delicious and so cute!

Love the use of the simple zig zag - very cool.
My favourite tradition is experiencing the Magic of Christmas with my kids starting from the first moments the decorations come out actually usually before when they realise Christmas season is approaching, every little amazing piece of information they come out with and then them remembering what we did the year before and wanting to do it again! and again! You can't beat the memories they have.

Great stamps! My favorite holiday tradition is making Christmas cut-out cookies. This year is extra special because I found my mom's cookie recipe from my childhood after searching for many years - I'll be making them with my 7-year-old DD tomorrow. :)

Just love that zigzag stamp - it reminds me of home-knit 1970s jumpers! Ok favourite holiday tradition - well it has to be giving presents. I love to make as many ad I can by hand and always include the odd joke pressure (like a crocheted bikini for my mum to remind her of the awful knitted swimsuits of her childhood) :-)
