Here's two of the three sets of stamps that I'll be giving away:

Also, Hero Arts will also be giving away five prize packs that include brand new 2012 Catalog stamps. The five winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 12, and will be announced on the Hero Arts blog shortly thereafter.

All the new stamps will be available on December 10th. Check out HeroArts.com for a store near you.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE, WELCOME! Normally a process post like this would happen over on my Projects blog but since this one includes a giveaway it's happening here (and there's lots of December Daily goodness happening over there). If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.

Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:

Hello zig zag!

I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.

Here's a look at my process:

I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.

I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.

I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.

Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.

And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.

"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.

For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.

Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

That zig zag stamp is a bit trippy but looks so lovely as a bakground! I like your page and might have to "borrow" the idea.

My favourite christmas tradition is a hot roast for lunch... even on stinking hot summer days!

What an adorable photo and brilliant layout! I love the way you used the new zig zag stamp!

Christmas is one of my favourite times of year so I love all the traditions we have around it - decorating, baking, going to midnight mass followed by hot cocoa. The excitement on Christmas morning when the lads realise Santa has visited is probably the best:)

Great use of a large background stamp! My favorite tradition is leaving the tree lights on all night and coming down to a tree-lit room early in the morning.

My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the tree with my kids on the day after Thanksgiving. I don't allow any Christmas decorations until then, so it becomes a big, festive, celebration.

    Wonderful ideas!
Definitely baking all kinds of cookies and other baked goodies is one of our favorite holiday traditions. When our girls were younger, we would have them draw a picture of a Christmas tree on the Christmas tree box and then date it while my husband and I were assembling the tree and putting on the lights. That tree is long gone, but we kept the box with those precious drawings from years gone by.

I have no stamps. Would love to win this one. My fav Christmas tradition is to reread two children's Christmas books that were mine as a child. Pokey the Polarbear makes me cry happy, sentimental tears every time.

My favorite tradition, one I started 25 years ago when my first child was born..."reindeer pajamas." As a child, we always were allowed to open one present Christmas Eve. As I had just started taking pictures of everything to put in photo albums (this was a few years before my official introduction to Creative Memories and scrapbooking) I wanted everyone to have on "nice" pajamas for the Christmas morning pictures and thus, everyone gets to open their "reindeer" present the night before Christmas. Of course my children "hated" his part cause they wanted a "real present...not just pajamas" to open. Anyhoo, thanks for all your hard work and sharing of your December Daily. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

I love how you used that zig-zag stamp in different colors to create your soft background. My favorite holiday tradition will have to be waking up early on Christmas morning, sitting around the tree with a hot cup of coffee and watching the excitement on my daughters face as she opens up her presents!

I always find great inspiration when I visit your site. These new Hero Arts stamps are gonna kill my "scrappy" budget! We have many favorite tradtions....making gingerbread houses, opening 1 gift Christmas Eve (new pj's to wear to bed) and mostly just spending time with the family (although that's so much a tradition I guess) Happy Holidays to you!
